From the Lab to the Field: Nexus AI's Impact on Mining and Rural Communities
Technology truly proves its worth when it reaches the people who need it most. Since achieving our latest regulatory milestones in late 2025, Nexus AI has moved rapidly from clinical validation to large-scale field deployment.
High-throughput triage in action
In the Northern Cape and Limpopo, Nexus AI CXR supports the TB and lung health service of an integrated community healthcare programme funded by the Sishen Iron Ore Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT). Vertice Mobile Health delivers the mobile services and Healthcare Framework carries the patient record. More than 50 000 people have been screened through integrated wellness, HIV and TB services since 2023, in communities that previously had limited access to expert radiology.

Global Footprint Highlights
More than 20 000 screenings annually across 19 healthcare facilities in Côte d'Ivoire, supporting the Ministry of Health National TB Programme with Global Fund support, alongside deployments in Sierra Leone.
Our specialised Silicosis model is currently undergoing external validation with the Stop TB Partnership to improve compensation workflows for mine workers.
Through our collaboration with Google, we have delivered more than 15 000 in-kind screenings to underserved communities.
